Ethereal Woodland Wedding at The Barn on Walnut Hill, Maine

Kathryn and Dave's wedding at The Barn on Walnut Hill was an ethereal woodland dream.

While not exactly off the beaten path, when you arrive at this charming setting in North Yarmouth and find yourself tucked in a grove of trees for a cozy ceremony, it’s like entering a beautiful portal where nothing else matters but those present. Staying true to that, Kathryn and Dave’s celebration was designed with intention around the thing they both value above all else — family — in a state dear to their hearts and integral to their love story.

Maine was the place Kathryn grew up, and later where Dave realized he was falling in love with Kathryn on a trip to visit her family for the first time. They got engaged while visiting Kathryn's grandmother in Falmouth, where Dave got down on one knee on a private dock overlooking Casco Bay. The two still enjoy exploring the coastline of Maine on weekend excursions together. And it goes without saying that they’re in love with their adoring pup (an important guest at the wedding), a Cavalier King Charles named Casco.

Gathering their families in Maine was the perfect way to celebrate not only Kathryn and Dave, but also the intertwining of those integral family relationships across their love story.

It was an event full of heart, and I’m so blessed to have bottled up some of that magic.
