I feel the most grounded in nature — roaming the coastline with salt air in my lungs, tackling a new mountain (slowly working on the NH 48 list), or exploring new corners of my profoundly beautiful home state. I also love + appreciate solitary runs, walks with my partner (his name is Cole and he’s the most wonderful person I know), vinyasa, indie folk music, endless cups of hot tea, and soft, directional light.

When it comes to my work, my style is intimate, photojournalistic, and natural with a fine art influence. Some of my favorite things to capture are little subtleties + in-between moments that tell a story with an artful eye — those gorgeous milliseconds of life. I love to tap into the magic of emotive imagery — the kind where you can hear a belly laugh or feel the raw intimacy of an embrace. But what I’m not is the kind of photographer who’s looking to create a moment that wouldn’t otherwise be there organically and authentically. I create my best work not when forcing moments or poses, but just being present to capture the spirit of the celebration around me.
